- Answer No, this keyboard has 3 lighting zones. You can just light up one, two or all light zones at a time, but not individual keys.

QuestionDo you have to install the software in order for the macro keys to work or are they already programmed into the keyboard/hardware itself?

- Answer Yes and no. For mouse clicks and in depth macros, youd need the software itself. However, the keyboard itself can record macros, but its excessively finicky. Luckily, the software for corsair is a free download on their website. Hope this helped.

QuestionWhat is the typing speed of the programmable keys (fast or slow)? I own 2 programmable keyboards. 1 types REALLY FAST from the programmable keys. The other types with a noticeable delay (~0.1 sec) between each keystroke.
