• From what I understand, it and the latest version of it, only works for it's predecessor (only PS4).

• Yes, for the most part all PS4 games are compatible with the PS5. You may also get a free upgrade to the pS5 version of the game on the PS Store, once you insert the disc. But if not it still will still allow you to play the PS4 game on your PS5
