Depending on the rest of your system specs, 800w may be on the edge of sufficient. It is a good certified PSU, which helps. I’d say if your processor is a Ryzen 5800x or less or Intel i5 or less down to maybe 9000 series Intel, you’re probably safe power level wise. Whether the plug will melt is mostly dependent on getting it plugged in as completely as possible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hmm, what is your CPU? I7 12k, i7 13k, i9 12k or i9 13k? If you the 12k edition then it would be fine but if you have the 13 k CPU then with the 4090, it's going to need the 1000 w, because each component is power hungry.
