Corsair is an extremely reliable and established brand with very VERY few reports of PSUs exploding. I would say it would be a perfectly safe purchase for you. That said, if the power delivery from the wall is unstable or very dirty, no PSU would be impervious to that. It’s often advisable to purchase a UPS (universal power supply) with some type of power conditioning functionality. Cyberpower calls theirs “AVR” (automatic voltage regulation). APC calls it “Sine Wave”. Others have similar capability built in. What it means is that the power delivery is always active from the battery itself. This ensures the cleanest most consistent power delivery possible regardless of the source power (from the wall).
