Hi Twan, Great question! Aside from sporting an updated design, the 2021 RMx features: • A Magnetic Levitation fan, providing optimal cooling at low noise levels • Resonant LLC Topology with DC-to-DC Conversion, which provides clean, consistent power, reduces coil whine for quieter operation, and enables use of more energy efficient sleep states Zero RPM Fan Mode, premium internal components (100% All Japanese 105°C Capacitors), and 80 Plus Gold certification are still consistent with our previous RMx PSUs! Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From what I've read by others, the old model had 3 PCI-E cables, while the current model has only two. I'm not sure about any other differences.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There's various revisions of the same model (2018, 2019, etc). The placement of the ports are slightly different between versions, and the cables supplied with each model can vary. This one specifically comes with 1x 24-pin, x3 EPS 8-pin, x2 PCIe 6+2-pin, x1 peripheral 4-pin, x2 SATA with 3 connectors and x2 SATA with 4 connectors. This revision (or possibly 2019 one) started to have a slightly larger fan as well, though maintaining same width.
