• It’s definitely wide enough. No sliding around. Arms can be adjusted in or out during,assembly and after if need be.

• I’m a 230lb man and it’s plenty of room in the chair and I’ve never felt myself sliding around

• My son is 200 lbs and 6'2 and I'm 240 at 5'11 and a tad stocky but had comfortable room to spare. It has a dial underneath to crank to allow for the chair to lean back a little so didnt feel like sliding out of it.

• Hello, You'd slide depending on the flooring if you exert any directional force. Width depends on how much width you need. -Art
