the default speed of these is 4800, the XMP profile is 5200.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, The default speed may vary by motherboard manufacturer. Based on what I've seen, 4800 MHz seems to be the most common standard. You can check memory speed via Task Manager. If the speed does not show up as 5200 MHz, you may easily enable XMP in your motherboard's BIOS without any issue (assuming the motherboard already supports 5200 MHz). Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The non-XMP MT/s is set by the board manufacturer and not the RAM. It is typically 4800 MT/s as the DDR5 minimum speed is 2400MHz. As such, you also need to make sure your board will support the desired speed. Most 690 boards will go to 6600. 790 boards can go all the way up to 8000.
