• Before we can answer that question we need to know the model number of your computer. That will tell us if it's compatible with DDR4 ram and how many slots are available. If your computer says it came with DDR then most likely, as long as there a slots available.

• Depends on the specific desktop, please refer to its manual to find it if it takes DDR4 and that it can take a single 8gb stick to replace what came in the system originally.
