“I'm currently running a MSI H310I Pro with an intel I3 8100. I'm upgrading to a Intel I7 8700 and was wondering is this RAM compatible with the I7 8700? The MSI support page list this RAM compatible with I3 and I5, I7 processors and is this true?”

Hello Ted, You would want to confirm that your motherboard supports this speed. As this speed is very close to the JEDEC default of 2133 MHz, you should be able to run this memory without issue. But it is always best to confirm with your motherboard manufacturer prior to purchasing this memory kit. -Brian
