• A:Answer It stands for Special Edition. The mesh earpads are the difference between standard and special I believe.

• A:Answer There is a wireless dongle that comes with them. you plug it into a usb port and its plug and play. I would put it as high up on your computer case as you can as the range suffers if it is down low or right next to the wall. I have a usb port on top of my case and i moved the dongle there. and now it gets a good signal all over my house.
