“I bought a kindle Fire HD 8 (10th Generation 2020 release) for my 80 year old mother who lives in another part of the state. I also ordered this cover. She says the cover covers up the speakers? Is this correct? Could she be putting it on incorrectly?”

The speaker is very small and on the side. If she uses the cover, it does cover up the speaker. However, the sound I tried is loud enough to hear. I turned the media sound up all the way.
