• It will pause the print but you can load the same color in another slot of the CFS and set it to resume with that specified color if the roll runs out.

• If it runs out it pausing the print, add a new spool and resume printing.

• It pauses the print, run out detection is pretty standard on modern 3d printers.

• The k2 through the k2 plus all have air print detection, in other words, it will stop the print if it detects it runs out of filament and will alert you both audibly and through the app.
