Yes. The outside is stainless steel with an aluminum inside. The removable cooking insert is ceramic.

There were no California warnings on the packaging nor was there any information about the composition of the removable inner lining. This would be the only information available from a customer. Perhaps contacting the manufacturer would be helpful for your concerns.
