Thank you for contacting us and for your question. If you are planning on just installing a fresh copy of Windows to the new Crucial SSD then you will not need any additional adapters or install kits as you will simply remove the old HDD, and replace it with the new Crucial SSD before booting to your Windows install media. If you are planning on cloning everything from the old drive over to the new Crucial SSD, you will most likely want to purchase a SATA to USB cable so that you can connect the new SSD external through USB while everything from the old drive is copied over. All Crucial drives come with a free copy of Acronis true image cloning software but you would need to purchase a sata to usb cable separate. Once the clone has been completed, you can then simply install the new SSD and the system should boot right back up.
