Thanks for your question. The Inspiron 3880 does have an M.2 PCIe slot which will support the P3 Plus. Your specific system may already have an Intel Optane drive or existing SSD which has your OS installed in it, so cloning from your old drive to the new one may require an additional adapter to connect the P3 Plus via USB temporarily (if this is something you would need to do, as opposed to a fresh install of your operating system).
