I’m 75 years old and have experience with lots and lots of different types of technological equipments over the years. These published nominal/maximum speeds are useful in terms of comparing similar products when making purchasing decisions. When using these SSDs, the actual speeds go up and down like roller coasters. In actual practice, seldom do you get close to these published speeds. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. There are so many “weak links” in transfer processes that slow things down to 20 or 30% of maximum.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The X6 is potentially capable of up to 800MB/s Read and Write speeds, however write performance will be much more dependent on workload and host system variables and can fluctuate based on how these also change.
