• It can be hidden from bluetooth and does not make sounds. Just turn on "hide from bluetooth" in the settings

• It makes a beep when you activate the Live tracking.. and depends on where you have the device on the car it beep is hardly noticeable. The app allows you to hide the name of tracker from showing up on any Bluetooth scan list.
