Changing the alert interval makes a a beep. Multiple people shared on the tracker can increase the chances that someone accidentally hits play sound button on the app as it’s right where your thumb goes on your phone on the app. I needed absolutely no sound. No way to do it fully on the app. Had to take it apart. 4 screws to remove the magnet plate and then an iPhone screen opener to pry off the recessed back plate. It is lightly glued for weather proofing. Once you get a corner to pry back a bit you are golden but it’s a bear to get it to finally release a corner and requires some prying. After a corner is pushed open a bit, I used a popsicle stick to slid all the way around and remove the back cover. Slide battery pack gently out and keep it connected. 5 small micro screws to remove circuit board from housing. Lift up the board on one end (the other end is silicones to the bottom of the case for weather proof charging) and there is a small pressure contact that touches the speaker. I slid a piece of thin paper about the size of a 50 cent pice to go between the contact and the speaker. No more sound…ever. Put back together and never worry it will alert somebody accidentally.
