What does it mean "Self-clean" ? null

In the short manual with it, describes how to clean it with adding vinegarand water and using the clean setting. How often would depend on how hard your water is. We have very hard water and make alot of coffee, so I do it every 3 months, regardless. I do change the charcoal filter then also.

Self-clean means it has a cleaning option that works without manual cleaning.
