This coffeemaker comes with a mesh reusable filter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the mesh filter that is included or cone-shaped paper filters. The mesh filter saves paper and money, but it does require that you clean the coffee grounds out every time, which takes a bit of work. The mesh filter also tends to allow a bit of coffee-ground-sludge into the coffee itself. The paper filter tends to let less residue through into the coffee.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The mesh is metal, it is a goldish tint mesh screen, very good quality. Definitely washable, but would recommend paper filters, the mesh doesn’t seem to be that tight to keep the fine grounds from flowing thru into the carafe.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does have a permanent mesh and plastic filter. It seems to work well, so far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have a chlice of using store bought filters OR using the filter that is reusable
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I only use the mesh filter... I have three of them, and run them through the dishwasher from time to time. They are excellent, and I have never, ever had any problem with coffee residue. I have had 5 Cuisinart coffee makers, and have been delighted with each. None of them actually died, but I donated the used ones to charity and upgraded. I do not like the paper filters.
