• Yes it is. We use it all the time and it was approved by our HOA.

• Yes, absolutely. We bought it for outdoor car shows where propane and charcoal are not allowed. But, in between shows, it's on an apartment balcony. Easy to use and clean. Cooks efficiently. Great purchase for our needs.
