It doesn't look like Cuisinart sells replacements, so I'm currently looking for another way to fix this weak point in an otherwise great appliance.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ive heard the timer switch breaks and to let the timer finish the cycle on its own. So, if you want to stop the cooking just unplug it , the timer will continue to work until it finishes and will ding then. this is on the toa-60 which the control is not electronic.
