“When I make a single serving, the grounds get in my cup and are all over the top of the chamber. The hole punched in the top of the pod is much bigger than the bottom. What’s going on?”

Hi....my machine is doing the same thing. It's exploding the k cups and the grounds are going in my coffee cup and in the chamber. It's happened twice today and I'm not a happy camper having to clean up the mess. I'm thinking about returning the unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That was happening to us also. Be sure you press the k-cup down hard into the machine until you hear it click. That way, the metal tube that cuts into the top of the k-cup only punctures the top of the cup vs. tearing into the top foil. Hope that helps! The exploding cups and a leaking reservoir are happening to us as well. I am taking mine back. Sad it has so many issues. We would love it otherwise.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Also make sure the Kcup insert (black accessory) is in the correct orientation. The white arrow should be in the back towards the reservoir. There is a white arrow on the accesory and the maker that should line up

Please try again later.We push the pod down to puncture with the bottom needle BEFORE closing the lid, making sure the pod is level with the pod holder AND remove the upper needle’s rubber gasket. I’ve only had issues with the rubber seal puncturing a larger hole into the top of the pod with generic pod brands. This method eliminates that problem.
