“Just got mine. Doing the setup. Poured 12 cups of water in. It brewed 8 cups and the rest is sitting in the coffee area. I can’t figure out how to get that water out. What happened?”

• Ok. Same thing happened to me. I figured out it was because I did NOT have the lid on the carafe. Once I put the lid on, the water that remained in the filter area came out. Hope this helps.
