• It has a life span of 2 years, after that it dies still looking brand new

• Mine lasted only 4 months. While it is still under warranty from Cuisinart, I will have to pay for shipping for both new and old device. Steer clear of this device. Not worth it!

• Just parted with this model a few months back and it gave my family almost six years of service, tried a Mr. Coffee model since then but returned it and bought the same cuisinart model again because we missed the hot water feature.

• The exact same one I had lasted about 6 years. I also use same one at work and its about the same age. Like any coffee maker over time they go out.
