“I want to raise the tone level on my Cuisinart CTOA-130PC1 toaster oven/air fryer from 1 to 2. The manual says press AIRFRY and DUAL COOK simultaneously for 3 seconds. Then use the Selector Dial to set the new level (in this case 2).Nothing happens.HELP.”

turn function button until only the clock shows up by itself; "clock" is not listed as a "function" so just keep turning, it will be after last listing. Clock background is lit up & shows time. Now you can press "Air Fry" & "Dual Cook" buttons at the same time and hold for 3 seconds. turn "Time/Temp" dial to number you want 0 =deactivates, 1=low, 2=high then press "Time/Temp" dial to confirm

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The instructions work! The only thing I would add is that at first I moved the dial COUNTERCLOCKWISE to get to the clock function. Then I pushed both the air fry and dual cook together for three seconds. The setting of the tone on my air fryer oven showed it was on a 1. I turned it to 2 and it made a difference in the tone! Thanks for the beginning advice.

But thank you for explaining the clock function has to be backlit before simultaneously pressing AIRFRY and DUAL COOK. I am hearing impaired and could not hear the tone when set on 0 or 1. Hopefully I will be able to now.
