“Can one buy the cups separately? Are they interchangeable? (i.e. are the cups proprietary to Cuisinart) i am thinking of purchasing this for an office environment and want to encourage people to bring in their own cups that they can screw on.”

Cups would be proprietary given how the blade unit screws into them.since the blade unit becomes part of the cup, just ordering extra cups would be efficient. Would also have to order the blade unit with each cup.
