• Yes it can be replaced though you might not find the exact/original one which I believe was a CPS3.6-12

• Hello, The batteries can be replaced, but should be performed or supervised by personnel knowledgeable about batteries and the required precautions. The maximum battery allowed for this unit is a 12V/5.5Ah battery.
