I moved my Crucial MX100 SSD into this machine. There was an extra SATA power cable at the extra drive bay in my case though I did have to provide my own SATA data cable. The mobo is an MSI B350 Bazooka which has 4 SATA connectors of which 2 are in use by the optical and mechanical HDD. The motherboard also has an M.2 socket so you could install an M.2 SSD there if you wanted as well. It appears the M.2 socket is Key M and it appears it can use M.2 SATA and M.2 NVME SSD's.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, You can add an SSD but there is no more SATA ports So you have to buy an PCIE to SATA adapter. Or You can just add an M.2 SSD as there is a m.2 slot in the motherboard
