“I just got into PC gaming, and bought this, at the store the employee said if I upgrade the Ram I would have to also get a new power supply. Can someone help me by offering guidance on what I would need to buy, and do to upgrade Ram?”

The ram I would highly recommend. Most 2 stick kits of 8gb each will work. You do not need to upgrage your power supply if you are just going to upgrade the ram.
