The dp port/hdmi port on the back panel probably is for the onboard graphics and not the graphics card itself. I dont think this motherboard or cpu has onboard graphics so you wont get a signal. You would need all the cords to connect the gpu in short, and if there arent enough slots well there's nothing you can do besides replace the cpu with something that has integrated graphics.
