My PC had a plastic piece to hold the SSD in place. If windows is not seeing the drive, right click the start menu and select "disk management." You should be able to see the SSD and set it up from there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to do the exact same thing but I didn't have any problems with the computer recognizing the new drive. If you happened to install your old OS boot drive in that free slot then you'll have to figure out which drive you want to boot from, the one that came with the new pc or your old boot drive and then go into a partition manager and format the old windows partition from said hardrive.
