“Hey, I'm new to expensive gaming PC's and was wondering if you need to get an HDMI 2.1 cable or display port to HDMI 2.1? Also, is it worth it to pay extra for geek squad support or are the manufacturer warranties good enough? Thanks”

Definitely get geek squad accidental protection if you are new to computers and you sometimes make mistakes, the warranty doesn't seem to be very reliable as it is only 1 year. as for the first question you should most likely get an HDMI 2.1 cable but I am running my 144hz monitor with a display port 1.2 cable
