Hey Frank. The CPU runs HOT (I've been told AMDs generally do). So i did go buy an aftermarket cooler. BUT the computer itself is solid. I run ARK on high-epic settings and maintain around 50-70fps. There is a downside though. I have to use special launch options to minimize the amount of processing power. The graphics card in this machine is a beast. but the processor honestly sucks. I plan on upgrading the processor to the best one that the motherboard allows. I believe its the AMD FX-8350. (Don't quote me. I'm no expert computer builder yet). My benchmark scores on 3D Mark were around 8.3k. My buddies benchmark scores with their handcrafted gaming machines were 10k-12k. I benchmarked my machine replacing the processor with the 8350 and the theoretical numbers were 10-10.5k. These numbers may mean nothing. But to put it in perspective. My buddies run Ark and the like at 120fps all epic with no special launch options. (11k benchmark) i run it almost all epic with launch options at 60fps (8.2k benchmark) a good guess would say i'd get around 100fps on all epic with the $120 upgrade to the FX-8350... In short YES. It should run those games at decently high settings. But if you're not looking to upgrade at all i would seriously consider looking for something around the same computer with a better processor.
