“I was to updrade to a FX-8350, is that possible? Also, do I need to alter/change the motherboard when upgrading the CPU? Lastly, can I upgrade the CPU first thing without turning it in for the first time?”

Thanks for reaching out! You can install that processor in this model. You can change out the CPU anytime as long as the PC is fully powered off.
