“I know I can’t use a single headset to speak and listen already, but can I connect an accessory to do so? Additionally, why is no audio streaming out of the built in system? Is there an audio system at all? I can only hear audio with my headphones.”

As is standard with desktops, there are no speakers. That's separate, or you could get one in a monitor. You can absolutely use a headset to speak and listen though, you just need the right one.
