“So I got this computer today, when I tried to hook up my monitor to it, says no signal, with a laptop the monitor worked just fine. I used a hdmi cord. And it’s a newish monitor. Could someone help me? Do I need to clean something? I just got it in today”

I bought the computer yesterday (10/25/17) and I experienced the same issue while setting it up because I was plugging in the HDMI cable to the HDMI ports located at the top area on the rear of the pc. Then, I connected the HDMI cable to the port located at the bottom area on the rear of the pc (The HDMI ports built in the graphics card) and it worked just fine. Look forward to hear if this quick solution worked for you.
