“Anyone have any experience in upgrading the ram in this model from the 8 gb to a 16 gb ram ? I was wanting to do that but wasn’t sure I would have to add more fans or I could just simple plug in another ram stick that’s the same as the one it”

I upgraded this to 16gb of ram in about 5 minutes. Got the additional 8gb from crucial, opened the side panel by unscrewing the panel, popped in the ram and Voila! Instantly recognized by the system.
