• The motherboard in this PC will be compatible with most AM3+ / select AMD FX-8000 Series Processors. This will not be compatible with any of the AMD FX-9000 series or newer processors. • the processor is a great one i have it on my custom built PC you could upgrade just make sure everything is compatible and fits in the case
