“Should I buy a 'pci-express x1' wireless adapter or a pci wireless adapter? I read in the specifications section that it has an open 'pci-express 1x' slot and an open 'pci' slot, but when I searched the Q&a, it made me believe only a pci slot was open.”

The PCI-express X1 slot may be too close or may be underneath the video card on the motherboard and it is recommend that the PCI slot is used instead for this CyberpowerPC desktop.
