“Is the keyboard that comes with this membrane or mechanical? If it's mechanical what switches does it have? Does the mouse have a braided cord?”

Thank you for reaching out to us Jim. Unfortunately the keyboard included with this system is not mechanical. Also the cable on the mouse is not braided.
