Okay, if I'm reading the chart right from Gigabyte's website, you should be able to put in the Ryzen 9. Check it out for yourself at: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-AX370M-DS3H-rev-1x/support#support-cpu You WILL need to update the BIOS, if you haven't done so already. Mine came with BIOS v. F20 installed, and I had to update to v. F40 for some of the features I needed. (Be careful and follow the BIOS update directions carefully! If you mess it up, you will break your computer and you may NOT be able to get it back!)
