• These days a lot of your software purchases are digital downloads. No more need for a cd/dvd library or digging out a disc just to find it scratched and unreadable. If you buy a new system or have to reformat, you simply go to the site where you purchased the software, re-download and install.

• This computer was designed as a very new era gaming computer. Generally, programs to be installed are done so via download. For extant programs in CD/DVD format to be installed an external drive will have to be purchased. For my older games, and non-downloadable programs I acquired an inexpensive one.
