• Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, this PC does not include a DVD drive; however, one can be purchased separately if needed.

• No need to guess :). All optical media is much slower and limited in size than any modern alternate (SSD, UFS, eMMC, SD cards,, etc.). Do yourself a favor and copy any discs to one of these, then put the external drive you used, along with the old discs, into a closet for emergencies.
