Thanks for reaching out JBeaver. This PC should come with 8GB of RAM. It should be able to run first-person shooters. However, your settings and connection may affect performance. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It originally comes with 8 gigs of ram, I plan on adding another 8 soon as the os and other programs eat almost 25%. One of the big differences is the hybrid drive with SSD so all my Operating programs are on it so start up and recall is much faster even with the I 5 processor (which overclocks automatically great for gaming) also my photo editing software programs are on the d drive with 2 terabytes.I back up my important files with a third drive from my older system. this keeps my SSD very clean and my working drive is then used for my personal programs games etc. I have no lag on fall out 4 with ultra settings now as the Nvidia 1060 adds another 3 gigs ram and is a good entry level GP. Now I have not played WOW for some time but I am sure that at high settings you would get decent FPS also if you set your Lighting and shadows lower that can improve FPS greatly. I have ran skyrim, no mans sky, fall out 3 and 4 and boarderlands with out any issues on ultra settings. when I am doing extensive photo editing I have virtually no lag when processing raw files, even with multiple layers and editing several pictures in batch processing. Now this all being said a faster processor say the I 9 or I 7 would be better as would the higher end GP from NVidia or AMD but for 900 dollars verses say 1500 to 4000 for a full solid state drive liquid cooling and all the other bells and whistles the Quallity of this system is very good.
