Thanks for reaching out Tyrone. This PC should come with a 800 watt 80 plus power supply unit. Overclocking may potentially void warranty. If you have any further questions or concerns then please do not hesitate to give our tech support agents a call for any assistance; we're always happy to help. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You could try to use the multi-core enhancement setting in the BIOS and let the i9-9900k overclock itself. However there would be little gain beyond that IMHO, that being said if you want to really overclock it you would need a different setup or you could run into problems. You will gain very little performance though and you risk damaging the CPU. A proper OCing capable system will cost at least $270 more as I had already spec'd out the parts but after researching the gains I decided not to go down that road. If you want to get to 5.1-5.2 ghz you will need a 280 MM AIO, Gigabyte AORUS or similar mid range to high end MOBO, faster ram, and then you will only get a few frames per second more. If you want a more powerful system for gaming and want to game 4k/1440p at max frame rate and ultra resolution on ALL games you would do better to get a 2080 TI graphics card anyway that will make way more of a difference than the 9900k.
