Yes and no. Only the app way of doing things is documented. You can access a stream URL though - you’d need a media player on the machine you’re watching it from and you’d need to forward some ports on your router. I’m doing it now using VLC as the client - but it’s not for the non-inclined, and it’s not really documented anywhere.. So unless you’ve got experience setting up stream sources though your home router, the answer is no.
