• That was a concern for me also so I took the chance. Yes, it fits the in the official Asus travel case pretty snuggly with hard cover and all. Extra protection with assesorie pouch.

• If you’re talking about the Official 2-in-1 case Asus sells, no. The kickstand that is built into this case has no corresponding cutouts for it. However, the Killswitch Travel Kit includes a hard plastic front cover that snaps on making an additional carrying case unnecessary.
