Great question JoJo, the Defender HD can record in both continuous or motion only! You also have the option to adjust your pre recording time on the system so that you control how much footage is saved before the motion event, so you won't have any lag time before your recording. With multiple recording options you can ensure that you have the peace of mind you deserve with Defender!
