I am looking at the NVR and I want to get a UPS in the event of an utility outage but am unable to find the specs on power usage of the unit, have it for the Router, modem and monitor but nothing on the NVR, any help would be great

Hi John, Thank you for your question! At the moment, we don’t recommend plugging the NVR into a UPS. We haven’t performed testing for this type of setup, so we can’t guarantee that using a UPS won’t affect the NVR’s performance or stability.
For the best and most reliable operation, the NVR should be connected directly to a wall outlet using the power supply included in the box. Best regards, Jenny | Defender Customer Experience Expert
